Order of operations: question bank
Practise the order of operations from first steps to olympiad puzzles. The rule used throughout: brackets first (innermost first), then × and ÷ from left to right, then + and − from left to right. "Of" (as in ½ of 10) is done before ordinary × and ÷, following the BODMAS textbook convention; questions say so where it matters. Every solution shows the working one step per line, the best habit for this topic. Questions start at foundation and rise through core and stretch to challenge.
